Lead Pastor - Andrew Bailey
has been attending The Rock since 1985, after giving his life to Christ through the work of Campus Crusade for Christ while attending and playing football at Idaho State University. Over the past 35 years, Andrew has served in many positions at The Rock including: Nursery director, Youth Leader, Board Member, Children’s and Adult Sunday School teacher, Royal Ranger Leader, and, in 1996, Andrew became the Associate Pastor, a position he held for five years before becoming the Lead Pastor in May of 2001. Andrew’s ministerial credentials are from Global University, an Assembly of God Bible School. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Boise State University, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from George Fox University. Andrew and his wife, Reba, have three adult children, a son and daughter in law and four grandchildren. Reba is a gifted teacher, often teaches adult Sunday school, volunteers her time in the accounting area of the church and likes to fill in where she can to help. She is currently leading the Rock Hospitality teams. Reba is a RevPro resource for Pennant-a healthcare organization across the Western United States-providing feedback and education to healthcare professionals. She holds a nursing degree, and a Bachelors and Masters degree in literature from Boise State University.

Executive Pastor - laura Schneider
has been attending the Rock church since 1993 and has served as the Sunday School director, and worship leader. Laura started on staff in an associates role in 2001 as the Director of Music Ministries. Today Laura is serving as the Executive Pastor with oversight of team member ministry throughout the Rock. Laura received her Pastoral credentials through Global University with the Assemblies of God. Laura has completed many upper level credits through Boise State in music performance. She has five adult children.

Associate Pastor - Jacob Presson
Before coming to the Rock in 2020, Jacob held several leadership positions in the local church and college campus ministries including: youth small group leader, Powerplant Kids ministry leader, Discipleship Administrator of Commuting students, and Executive Director of Crosswalk Student Ministries. Jacob graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and an emphasis in psychology. He is currently attending the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary pursuing an online Master’s degree in Theological Studies. He is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. Jacob’s role at the Rock includes teaching, along with an emphasis on youth ministry.

Children's Pastor - Anna Bailey
has been attending the Rock her whole life, since 1994. Anna has her Bachelors degree from Boise State University in Children’s Elementary Education and received her Assembly of God credentials through Global University. Her role includes direct oversight of the team members throughout the Kids on Course Ministries which include nursery, Bible Buzz, Sunday School, Kidstuf, and SALT.

Associate pastor Tim shawver
serves in the areas of Adult Christian Education, ushers, tellers, and senior care. Tim has been a part of the Rock since 1998, and joined the staff team in 2021 after retiring from a career as an air traffic controller in the US Air Force. He is currently pursuing Assembly of God credentials through Global University. He and his wife, Joanne, have 3 children and 9 grandchildren.

Office Coordinator - Denise DAniels
is a cheerful, high-energy people person. She has been serving in the role of office coordinator since 2006. Denise is married to Robert and has five boys all being adults. Denise runs the office and helps to coordinate special events, weekly happenings and special assignments. If you call the church, she is the one you will most likely talk to.

Events coordinator - Emily Schneider
was officially added to the staff on January 1st, 2022. She was raised in the church and has been serving in multiple Rock ministries since 2014. Emily is currently studying Digital Marketing at the College of Western Idaho. She has her Nursing Assistant Certification and worked as a caregiver at the Cottages of Mountain Home from May 2020-December 2021. Emily is excited to help lead people to life through our events here at The Rock.
